1. What we collect
The request generator and response helper process selections and generated text in your browser. We do not transmit or store city input, agency names, request letters, government replies, plate numbers, names or addresses. We record limited aggregate events such as a tool starting, a response category being selected, a letter being generated, a product card being viewed or clicked, and a checkout link being opened. Event properties are limited to state, response type, page and CTA position.
2. Cookies & advertising
Current status: we use Umami for aggregate, cookie-free product and page analytics. FlockWatch does not send tool text or direct identifiers to Umami. Some pages may load advertising code; advertising providers operate under their own policies and consent requirements.
If advertising is added: Google AdSense (or another ad network) may set cookies and use identifiers to serve and personalize ads, in line with their policies. This page will be updated to name the provider, and if you are in the EU/UK/EEA we will obtain your consent via a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before personalized advertising runs.
3. The "use my location" tool
The location lookup on our homepage uses your browser's geolocation. Your coordinates are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. You can deny location access and still use the site. No precise location data is collected, stored or shared by us, and none is sent with any advertising request.
4. What we publish
All data on FlockWatch is public reporting about Flock Safety cameras — locations, incidents, bans and legislation. Every entry links to its original public source. We never publish information about identifiable individuals.
5. Gumroad, external links and affiliate attribution
Gumroad is an independent payment and file-delivery provider. If you buy the Action Kit, Gumroad handles payment details, buyer contact information, receipts and downloads under its own privacy terms. FlockWatch does not send buyer email addresses to Umami. Our pages also link to news outlets, government records and tools such as Have I Been Flocked. If an affiliate link is added later, we may record the aggregate outbound click and the affiliate provider may use its own attribution technology. See our affiliate disclosure.
